VMOG UK ( formerly T.I.S.L.) came about as a result of the aquisition of British Steel’s OCTG seamless tube production plants back in 1994. VMOG UK is the largest UK based manufacturer and supplier of OCTG to the North Sea Oil & Gas Industry. The company operates OCTG heat treatment facilities and threading at it’s plant in Bellshill near Glasgow.
VMOG UK’s commercial headquarters and service centre is located in Westhill Aberdeen and is a division of the international Vallourec & Mannesmann Tubes.
The Vallourec Group
The Vallourec Group owns 100% of Vallourec & Mannesmann Tubes. In 2006 Vallourec generated sales of more than 2.6 Billion Euros in Oil & Gas, representing growth of 46.7% compared with 2005. This performance reflects a combination of very strong demand, a greater proportion of premium products and selling price increases. Oil & Gas activities represent more than 48% of Group Sales. |
