Vallourec Mannesmann Oil and Gas (UK) Ltd. (VMOG UK) is unique in its position as the North Sea market’s sole indigenous manufacturer of Oilfield Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) and the largest supplier to the United Kingdom Continental Shelf (UKCS).
VMOG UK has its heat treatment and threading plant in Bellshill, Lanarkshire (Clydesdale Works) and is logistically supported by Edzell Pipeyard, near Aberdeen. With both establishments in close proximity to each other our key strengths lie in flexibility of supply and ‘Just in Time’ deliveries. As part of the V&M Tubes group, VMOG UK can rely on a stable source of raw materials. The dependency of inter-company suppliers on VMOG UK, and the throughput of work VMOG UK creates as a major internal customer, has developed the strength to obtain a more flexible and faster approach to material supplies. VMOG UK takes this one step further by actively monitoring sub-contractors to ensure best price, best delivery and best quality.
VMOG UK Commercial Headquarters are located in Aberdeen, so as to be geographically close to the majority of our customers. We pride ourselves on developing lasting relationships to ensure continuity of supply over long periods of time.
